La Machine's Le Princesse skulking her way down the streets of Liverpool. Trying to find her nesting place again she has started to run rabid around the city, attacking everyone she sees with her poisonous mucus. The city council has tried many different things to try and tame her, but so far no luck.
_______

Without a doubt, this is one of the most impressive things I have ever seen. To celebrate Liverpool being the Capital of Culture for 2008 La Machine built this 50 foot spider that would walk the city streets for 4 days.

It's just incredible, I can't put into words how f*****g awesome (as in AWEsome, not in the "like...dude" way). I wish you all could have seen it, however I'd probably not got quite as good a view.

The tilted angle and change in colour (I'm just assuming the air wasn't green that day ;) ) add to the atmosphere very nicely. Cinematic, almost.

I am impressed. ^^

Well, might have been poisonous gas clouds or something. Who knows what they're pumping into the air these days. XD

Beautiful capture ! Is this 'Royal Deluxe' ?
I'm spheksophobic, so a giant spider wouldn't get to me too much. :D
Looks like captured from a nightmare.Well in your case, that would hit the spot, wouldn´t it?
I like the athmosphere of it.
But was that thing really walking? It was mounted on a crane or something wasn´t it?

#3 There is no reason.
Ah! I saw this too! It was amazing!
Holy sh--! Why didn't anyone tell me about this?
Well, at least there's YouTube videos of it. Woohoo. :|

Excellent capture either way, congratulations on the DD. It looks really "organic" here, less constrained, as opposed to what you can see on the videos. The contrast and colour of the picture create an amazing mood as well, it honestly looks like a promo pic for the next "War of the Worlds" or something like that. Amazingly done!

The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use the words.
That's a real life robot?!?!? :O
OMFG!
Missing words here...
